Description
Spreadcamp is a one-man Indie Game Developer originally from Germany making all kinds of fun games. There is no particular niche that I am targeting as I love to explore different game concepts in very different genres. Influencers, Streamers and Content Creators: I allow videos like Lets Plays, Walkthroughs and Streams for all my games! So you don't need to worry about unwanted takedowns or anything like that. Feel free to send me a link to your work so I can check it out. Please don't self-promote without my permission in my Discord though.
History
Early historyI've always loved games and was interested in game development and because of my struggle with chronic anxiety I decided to become a Game Developer myself. After a lot of hard work with a very unknown Adventure game engine called Wintermute I released my first game "Space Madness" in 2011. From then on I learned how to program in the Unity game engine to make more games with a friend, though never releasing the prototypes publicly. I learned a lot in this time and I decided to take a break for a while to refocus and expand my skillsets. Meanwhile some life-changing stuff happened like moving from Germany to the United Kingdom.
After thatIn 2021, exactly ten years after my first game, I returned full-time to game development as a solo developer, having learned additional 3D and graphics skills and a more realistic idea of what I can achieve. I decided to work on a remake of my first game to modernize it and make it better, while also having planned out new games that I am working on as well. To challenge myself I like to participate in Game Jams too, the results of which are all listed on the website. I'm very excited for the future and I look forward to unveiling my new games and to see where this journey is going to take me!
